"Definition of the moon G.o.ddesses perfection." My father hissed as his eyes looked as though they were trying to burn through Veronica. When she looked at him, I could perfectly see that her aura slowly siezed back with fear, but she didn't show it. My father slowly started stepping towards her then lunged at her, and quicker than I could even process, I was on top of my dad after tackling him. Alexi and Aaron were covering Veronica as she stood there frozen with fear and all the trainees were shuddering back from the power emitted from the both of us.
"You're rather protective of that one my boy." He sneered and my anger was quickly reaching it's edge.
"It wouldn't be your mate... Would it Xander?" He said and my fist come up in the air before harshly connecting with his face. He let a groan, then a laugh and reached his arms up, swinging me into a tree and his speed gave him quite the benefit because before I got the chance to try and stand up, Alexi and Aaron flew on top of me. I looked up just in time to see Veronica shift into her small, but fast luxoriously clean white furred wolf and quickly bolt, my father right on her eyes.
"Dammit, everyone split up through the forest." I growled at the trainees before shifting to following James and Veronica, Alexis and Aarons steps close behind before breaking away in different directions. A sharp pain came to my neck that felt like a bite followed by scrath marks all along my build then a loud, shrieking scream echoed through the forest as I finally made it to the scene and watched Aaron tackle my dad down after sprinting in from the side, Alexi and the trainees, quickly sweeping in ravaging him. I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw my mate lying there on the gra.s.s, her once white fur now covered in red as I came closer to her body. She wasn't breathing, and while she was unconcious she still had just enough strength to shift back at the same time as me. I took off my shirt and put it on her to cover her body. I looked over her figure and saw the bite mark on her neck, and red claw marks down her whole body, mine infatuated with anger. When I looked over at the trainees, still beating up on my dad, I growled out and they all stopped like someone pressed a pause b.u.t.ton on a movie and Alexi caught onto me before I said anything and shoved past the crowd, picking up my dads beaten body before checking his pulse and nodding his head.
"Good, leave him in the cells..." I hissed before looking back down at my empty arms. 'What the f.u.c.k?!' Alistair growled and I looked up at Aaron who was cradling his little sister in his arms, walking towards the pack infirmary and I can;t really get mad at him, I know he loves her more than anything and I'd never break that tie... But on the other hand, the f.u.c.k Aaron? I jumped up to his and gave him a pleading look before he returned her back to my arms. Something popped in the back of my mind and I took her small wrist, feeling for her pulse and my eyes turned black and Alistair paced back and forth and I was having an internal battle with myself to not go back on my own words and go rip my father apart. 'Calm down... She's not dead yet Xander. She can't be.' my wolf said trying to reason with me but it sounded more like he was trying to reason with himself.I breathed out a heavy sigh, and held Veronica as close to my body as possible and sprinted off to the pack infirmary and I could sense Aarons cofusion before he decided against questioning and followed hot on my heels.
