She had already done the best that she could to avoid him. She camped out in the car yesterday afternoon for so long, last night, in order to avoid being in his presence, she spent the night on a rattan chair in the sunroom, and tonight…… In such heavy rain, even though no one was willing to come pick her up no matter how many people she called, she still didn’t dare to call the main mansion, in fear of angering him……

But, it seemed that no matter what she did, she would always put him in a bad mood, and then it would be converted to this sort of heartless treatment.

That was the most intimate transaction between a man and woman. But as for her, she wouldn’t even be considered the female party of that transaction, she was just his venting bag…… Forget even a tiny bit of tenderness or pleasure, he had never once given her even a thread of respect.

It was impossible for her not to feel wronged and hurt. Because she liked him, because she had secretly liked him for so many years, it felt even worse.

If she could restrain herself, Qin Zhi Ai really didn’t want to just start crying in front of him.

However, she could never hold it in. The more she wanted prevent herself from exposing her current emotional state, the greater the stinging in her eyes grew and before she realised it, tears were already tumbling out from the corner of her eyes.

A long time after it was over, Gu Yu Sheng’s mind finally retrieved itself from that emptiness brought from release.

He felt like his entire body had been thoroughly hollowed by something, and he felt a bit absentminded.

He gazed at ceiling, and dazed out for a good while, before realising what he had just done.

He had actually touched her yet again…… What on earth was wrong with him? From once to twice, from twice to three times, over and over again, why did he keep doing this sort of thing he had no control over?

This frequent loss of self-control, threw his thoughts into turmoil for the who knows nth time. He wanted to smoke, and had just reached out his hand to get a cigarette pack from under the pillow, when he remembered that his cigarettes and cellphone were both in the opposite room. He irritably withdrew his hand, turned his body around and saw Qin Zhi Ai weakly curled at the side of the bed. Her shoulders were shaking, as if she was crying.

Gu Yu Sheng’s lips suddenly tightened. He stared at her back for a while, and was originally going to move his eyes away but he suddenly heard the faint sound of sobbing, which she had taken a lot of effort to keep down.

As if a sharp blade had ferociously pierced his heart, without any warning, Gu Yu Sheng was attacked by a sharp and penetrating pain. His back muscles stretched taut from the pain, and his temper suddenly rose. He sat up, grabbed her arm, and threw her off the bed. He then grabbed her clothes that were scattered on the bed threw it down on top of her. “Go back home to cry!”

She seemed to have been frightened by him, and immediately stopped crying.  Her entire body trembling violently, she sat in a daze on the carpet for a while before belatedly taking in the meaning of his words. She then grabbed her clothes in a fl.u.s.ter and ran into the bathroom.

When he had her just then, he had been out of control, and had probably injured her. When she staggered to the bathroom, she was limping.

She put on her clothes at top speed. She came out with her head bowed, and without giving him a single glance, she ran for the room door.
