Di Fuyi took a step back but did not stop asking questions, "Could you tell me more about her previous life?"

Gu Xijiu was clearly reluctant to do so. It was obvious from her face that she was annoyed. "I do not like to talk bad about others. You are close to her, right? Why don't you ask her?"

Di Fuyi was speechless. He grabbed her by the wrist and was ready to ask her more, but Gu Xijiu pulled her hand back. "Mr. Zhu is back." She sounded quite delighted.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.

Frowningly, Di Fuyi looked away and saw an opening in the air, not too far away from them. The man took a leap through the opening and landed right outside of the array formation.

Mr. Zhu had arrived.

He was smart enough to remember the steps to enter the array formation, though Gu Xijiu had only taught him once. Soon enough, he found them at the core.

As soon as he saw Di Fuyi, he immediately launched a strike at him without asking any questions. "Let go of my master!" He demanded.

Di Fuyi was astonished. Master? With a tilt, he easily avoided the strike from Mr. Zhu.

Mr. Zhu had obviously put a lot of strength into the attack. He missed Di Fuyi but was able to smash the couch into pieces. Mr. Zhu decided to fight to the very end, as he continued to launch multiple deadly strikes at Di Fuyi.

Gu Xijiu finally realized how powerful he really was. Driven by an overwhelming sense of irritation, his every move was as violent as a raging storm, driving the sands everywhere in a whirl of roaring wind.

Luckily, Gu Xijiu was able to escape using her teleportation. Otherwise, she would have to breathe in the sands and dust, a.s.suming Mr. Zhu had not accidentally killed her first.

Mr. Zhu had a strong foundation in Kung Fu. Although Gu Xijiu was weak at the moment, she could still think straight. After a few moves, she could already tell that Mr. Zhu had the power of a Mighty Immortal, which was even more powerful than Di Fuyi. She finally knew why he could do anything as he pleased in the Devil Kingdom, without anyone to stop him. It was all because of his powerful Kung Fu. It certainly impressed her.

Nonetheless, Di Fuyi's Kung Fu was no longer the same as the last time they met. His improvement came as a surprise to her as well. His spiritual power was equivalent to that of a Golden Immortal, but his Kung Fu was rather strange; it seemed to be a combination of many different origins.

He could cast many spells or use of the puppet technique. He was also proficient in wielding weapons and could protect himself using different array formations. His performance in every field was absolutely brilliant, leaving no gap to be filled.

He cast a spell, and a crash of thunder rolled through the desert. Every streak of lightning that followed was tremendous, accompanied by a flash so bright that it would blind his opponent easily.

Whilst lightning and thunder clove the air, many puppet strings filled the air, too, giving his opponent no chance to defend. Mr. Zhu was obviously intimidated by his puppet string technique. He took a step back and almost fell right into an array formation that awaited him with whirling sands on the ground.

Di Fuyi performed many spells consecutively, to trap the man. Meanwhile, Mr. Zhu tried to escape from different directions whenever he could. After struggling for a while, he was backed into a corner by Di Fuyi.

Mr. Zhu fought back with as many moves as he could. Every move was equally powerful though perhaps not as varied. Di Fuyi continued to perform more spells with a myriad of phenomena, restricting the bamboo's man every effort to escape.

Very soon, Mr. Zhu was already trapped in a dilemma with nowhere to retreat. The puppet string cut his arm, and the lightning spell managed to burn some of his hair. Although Mr. Zhu was not critically harmed, it was the biggest loss that he had ever suffered in his life.

He was embarra.s.sed, especially since Gu Xijiu was around.
