Lei Xinyi could feel the nuzzle of the gun pressing against her back, so she refrained movements immediately. Taking a deep breath she looked in the crevice and shuddered.
The only thing that was holding her from falling was his grip. She could tell from the depth of the crevice that if she fell, she would die in the instant. So holding back her ego....
Lei Xinyi pleaded with a shaking voice, "Plea….Please Li Yuan I…I have never done…"
"Shut up!" she heard Li Yuan harsh voice and immediately shut her mouth. She was shaking from fear, this Devil would kill her with no remorse and she will be nothing but a number in his list. She could feel her face was tear strained.
Lei Xinyi was dreading the day she decided to impose as Lu Xinyi. It must have been karma that was catching up to her. She closed her eyes not daring to look in the crevice that could possibly be her grave.
But she needed to stay calm…..
"Now….. I want you to tell me everything you have been scheming about." She heard the cold and detached voice of Li Yuan.
This perked Lei XInyi ear. Did he know she wasn't Lu Xinyi and was imposing in her place? How can he? She covered all her tracks very well, she even tried to act like her and dress like her.
If it is, the possibilities are he could kill her and n.o.body would care. He could tell the Lu Family that she wasn't Lu Xinyi and she died in some kind of accident, he could even prove it with a DNA.
More so the Lu Family didn't really care about their this illegitimate daughters anyway. After her confession he would kill her with ease. No matter what she can't confess, that will lead her to eventual death…
But till she didn't confess, he can't do anything to her, and she will not confess. She had done too many things for survival, she would have even killed him with no regret if she could, for survival… further fabricating tales was a lesser crime to her.
But before that she needed to know how much he knew. She wasn't an idiot, that will be the last thing you will define her as, so she would definitely not tell a word more than he knows.
Shaking from further fear she pleaded, "Li Y..Yuan, please I don't know what you are talking…"
But before she could finish her pleading speech, Li Yuan pushed her further into the crevice. He was definitely not impressed by not getting the answer to his question.
"Ahhh….. Li..Li Yuan Please…"
Li Yuan spoke in a cold detached voice, "I am talking about the game you are playing. Tell me are you making a cuckold out of me?"
Even the thought of being played hurt his ego. It was obvious the girl was acting of being a coy fiance. It wasn't like her acting wasn't good enough, the girl could fool leagues but he was just too good at observing.
Realizing that he didn't know anything about her being an imposter Lei Xinyi inwardly sighed in relief.
Maybe his fiancé was unfaithful to him that may have been the reason why she left him. But anybody in the whole world will blame her but not Lei Xinyi. After all she was hanging by the cliff because of this psycho.
Any sane girl would dump him. The man has a face sculptured by the heavens and riches to last generations but he was bipolar and psycho!
Retreating from her thoughts Lei Xinyi spoke with a hurt and broken tone, "Li Yuan, the only man I have ever thought of is you. I swore on my life, that I should be struck by lightning if I even ever thought of cheating on you. I have loved you with all my heart, even after you weren't faithful to me."
Lei Xinyi inwardly rolled her eyes at how fake that sounded to her own ears. She was a mean and greedy b.i.t.c.h, the only person she loved was her own self. And it wasn't like the heavens would really strike her... the sky was clear today.
Furthermore she had done many vile things that deserved being struck for, lying to this bipolar ba*tard was the most decent of her sins.
Lei Xinyi bit her lips in antic.i.p.ation, she wanted to check his expression to know if he was buying her act or not but her back was against him and she was facing the crevice.
"Loved me with all your heart?! Is that why you eloped with the boy toy of yours, on our first official date?!" She heard the mocking voice of Li Yuan, his grip on her arm tightened.
Lei Xinyi was shocked by this, how wide was his network?! Master Lu made sure the crucial details about the eloping fiasco were kept a secret. She herself could hardly ever escape, had he planted moles in the Lu Family.
Though may not be a comparison with the Yu's and the Li's in riches the Lu Family had the influence to alter the government which was the sole reason for the contracted marriage.
Lei Xinyi cursed under her breath, even if that girl wanted to make a cuckold out of him, did she have to be this obvious?!
Lei Xinyi said in an even broken voice she could muster, "Li Yuan I have sworn on my life! Still you refuse to believe?! I was disheartened because what people were saying about our….relationship. So I spouted some nonsense but there had never been anybody before or after you."
"Do you take me for an idiot?!" Li Yuan said in his low threatening voice.
"NO! Li Yuan, do you know anybody who would dare date me knowing you are my fiancé?" Lei Xinyi said in almost a pleading voice he could lose his grip any moment and she would become tomorrow's headline.
Of course he didn't buy her being in love with him, he knew better how you can make a cow profess being a crow by fear and torture. And hanging off this cliff she would even accept eating sh*t if he demanded...
Fear and pain did that to people but what she said held a point, the people who would outright go against him could be counted on one hand.
Listening to her reason, he finally found it relative and pulled her arm backward and threw her on the ground with force and bend down with hands in his pocket.
"Better if that's the case." He said with a mocking smile.
The fall had scratched her hands and knees and his hard grip on her arm will surely leave a bruise to last for weeks. Lei Xinyi clenched her fist.
In her head Lei Xinyi killed him in several ways already. If she ever cooks for him she would poison him or better yet when she finds him sleeping she would kill him with a pillow.
Li Yuan was walking to his car with one hand holding the gun and the other in his pocket. Turning his head a little in her direction, he said calmly with a mocking smile, "Are you coming or what?"
